Nilai Kanai
Nilai Kanai
(Rebirth of Mothra II)
Situated in the shallow waters just off the coast of Okinawa, Nilai Kanai was one of the last cities of mythic Mu to sink into the ocean. It is a megalithic structure, something of a colossal pyramid in shape. Massive, dragon-like statues project from each corner of the pyramid. The surrounding WATER provides a larger battlefield than that presented by Nilai Kanai itself.
Cover: Moderate (+10 point BONUS to Defense Rolls)
Homefield: Dagarah
Veterans: Mothra (Rebirth)
Special Rules:
Stone Dragons - The energy of Nilai Kanai is still vast and powers the weaponry of the stone dragons. They will fire an energy blast at kaiju not determined to be GOOD at the BEGINNING OF EACH ROUND.
If neither monster is a GOOD kaiju, their target is selected by a Focus Roll. They have a Power Number of 20 and any kaiju struck will suffer ONE WOUND against which there is NO Defense Roll.

Odo Island
Odo Island
(Godzilla, King of the Monsters)
A bleak, barren island somewhere to the south of Japan. Odo Island is a small land mass of soaring hills and mountains covered in light foliage. There are few buildings on the island beyond the small structures of a fishing village. All in all, there is little cover for any kaiju fighting here.

Ogaswara Island (Monsterland)
Ogasawara Island (Monsterland)
(Destroy All Monsters)
A rocky Pacific Island south of Japan. Ogasawara is better known as ‘Monsterland’ and used by the UN as both a sanctuary and holding pen for the world’s monsters.
The rocky slopes and sandy shore provide all sorts of curious and elaborate defense mechanisms designed to contain the monsters. Offshore, derrick-like towers serve the same purpose, spraying poisonous deterents, emitting magnetic waves or releasing noxious gas to prevent the monsters from straying too far from their prison.
Cover: Light (+5 point BONUS to Defense Rolls)
Homefield: Godzilla (Showa), Minya (Showa), Rodan (Showa), Mothra (Showa), Ebirah (Showa), Kamacuras (Showa), Kumonga (Showa), Gabara, Gorosaurus, Manda (Showa), Varan, Baragon (Showa), Anguirus (Showa)
Veterans: Jet Jaguar
Special Rules
Monster Containment - Ogasawara is specially designed to contain monsters and limit their destructive instincts and actions. As such, the island’s defenses have a limiting effect on the kaiju kept there.
At the start of the match, each kaiju will roll a d6 to determine what effect these efforts by the staff at Ogasawara have on them:
1. The kaiju is very weak. REDUCE its Power Number -10.
2. The kaiju has become confused and disoriented. All Attack Rolls are made with a +5 point PENALTY.
3. Repeated attempts to break through the defenses have worn down the kaiju. It starts the battle suffering ONE WOUND.
4. The defense mechanisms of the island interfere with the kaiju’s special abilities. The kaiju’s Special Rules are NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
5. The defense mechanisms render the kaiju TOO WEAK to employ its Personal Primal Number.
6. Despite their best efforts, nothing the scientists do can weaken this kaiju. It suffers no ill effects and will fight the match as usual.

Osaka
Osaka
(Gigantis the Fire Monster)
A large industrial center in the south of Japan. The structures of the city itself are flanked by immense oil refineries situated along the WATERFRONT. From the center of the city rises the ancient structure of Osaka Castle.
Cover: Moderate (+10 point BONUS to Defense Rolls)
Homefield: None
Veterans: Godzilla (Showa), Anguirus (Showa)
Special Rules
Firestorm – There is a chance that any time a kaiju makes a successful Defense Roll due to the Cover Bonus and has taken shelter behind an oil refinery, the volatile fuel explodes!
Roll a d100 for the DEFENDING kaiju:
If the result is 1-30, the fierce battle has caused part of Osaka’s oil complex to explode. Roll again. If the result is 50 OR HIGHER, the defending kaiju suffers ONE WOUND.
If there has been an explosion, roll a d6 for the ATTACKING kaiju. If the result is 5-6, it also suffers ONE WOUND.

Paris
Paris
(Godzilla Final Wars)
The vast cultural and political center of France. Many Victorian structures are surrounded by parks, palaces and industrial complexes. Such landmarks as the cathedral of Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc d’ Triumph highlight this battlefield. While close together, the buildings are a bit too small to provide much cover for visiting kaiju.
Cover: Moderate (+10 point BONUS to Defense Rolls)
Veterans: Kamacuras (GFW), Gorosaurus, Baragon (Showa)
Special Rules
EDF Battleship Eclaire – ANY kaiju attacking Paris will be targeted by the Eclaire. This armored airship has a Power Number of 20 and can be destroyed with 1 HIT. It effectively serves as a third combatant.
Eclaire will make a Focus Roll to see which kaiju it will attack at the end of each round. They must also make a Focus Roll to see whether it to attack their foe or the ship.

Planet X
Planet X
(Godzilla vs. Monster Zero)
A mountainous terrain, devoid of any life. There are many kaiju-sized boulders to hide behind but aside from that, there is little on the barren surface.
Cover: Light (+5 point BONUS to Defense Rolls). NONE (-5 point PENALTY to Defense Rolls) for AQUATIC kaiju.
Homefield: King Ghidorah (Showa)
Veterans: Godzilla (Showa), Rodan (Showa)
Special Rules
Xian Assault - BEFORE THE BATTLE BEGINS and any Battlefield Conditions have been resolved, the Xians will fire on any kaiju not classified as a SPACE monster. The alien forces have a Power Number of 25 and fire ONE SHOT at each monster that qualifies for their attentions. Any HITS will deal ONE WOUND to the affected kaiju and it will fight the coming battle in a weakened condition.
Low Gravity - After a kaiju suffers a HIT, roll a d100:
On a roll from 1 - 30, the kaiju CAN NOT attack on its next turn, disoriented by the strange lack of gravity.
NOTE: This has no effect on SPACE or AERIAL kaiju.

Radioactive Slag Heap
Radioactive Slag Heap
The worst case nightmare of any defense force is the desolation left by an atomic holocaust such as Godzilla’s potential detonation. The battlefield is a poisonous graveyard of twisted metal, melted stone and incinerated ash. There is nothing even remotely resembling Cover amid such desolation and the very ground is soaked in lethal radiation.
Cover: None (-5 point PENALTY to Defense Rolls)
Homefield: None
Veterans: None
Special Rules
Atomic Slag - Unless a kaiju is classified as RADIOACTIVE, it must roll a d6 at the start of EVERY ROUND fought on this battlefield.
On a roll of 1-3, its hardy constitution or sturdy construction keep out the worst of the radiation.
On a 4-6, the radiation works its poison and causes ONE WOUND.
RADIOACTIVE KAIJU also roll 1d6 WHEN THEY ARRIVE at this battlefield or conditions/events create such a setting:
On a 1-3, they are unaffected.
On a 4-6, they sink into a stupor soaking up the radiation. This HEALS ONE WOUND but the kaiju is too lethargic to make its next Attack Roll and FORFEITS its turn.

Royal Azumi Shrine (Okinawa)
Royal Azumi Shrine (Okinawa)
(Godzilla vs the Cosmic Monster)
An ancient religious site on the island of Okinawa, this is the location of the remaining descendents of the Azumi royal family of Okinawa. The shrine itself is a small, almost castle-like structure.
Massive hills surround the area which is otherwise fairly flat and open. A spur of rock stretching out to sea forms the perimeter of the battlefield, the resting place of the legendary protector of Okinawa, King Seesar.

Solgel Island
Solgel Island
(Son of Godzilla)
A lush, tropical island in the South Seas. The only structures to be found amongst its jungles and rocky slopes are those of the UN science project's experiments on the island. There is little cover for most kaiju, limited to the trees and piles of rock that form the island’s hills.
Cover: Minimal (NO BONUS to Defense Rolls)
Homefield: Minya (Showa), Kumonga (Showa), Kamacuras (Showa)
Veterans: Godzilla (Showa)
Special Rules:
Weather Experiment - The UN scientists on Solgel Island are hardly pleased to have a bunch of battling kaiju show up.
At the start of the 4th ROUND, roll a d6:
On a roll of 1-2, they launch their weather experiment, causing the climate of Solgel Island to violently change. Roll 1d6:
1-3: The island becomes glacially COLD. REPTILES and INSECTS are extremely sensitive to cold and function quite poorly in such frigid temeratures. Any REPTILE or INSECT KAIJU will suffer a PENALTY of -5 to its Power and Defense Numbers.
4-6: It becomes an inferno so intense that MAMMALS function rather poorly. Any MAMMAL kaiju will suffer a PENALTY of -5 to its Power and Defense Numbers. MACHINERY also functions poorly under the burning sun and all ROBOTS and CYBORGS will likewise suffer a PENALTY of -5 to their Power and Defense Numbers.
REPTILES, on the other hand, like the heat and GAIN a +5 BONUS to their Power and Defense Numbers to represent their hyper-active state in so much heat.
Any AQUATIC kaiju, reptile or otherwise, will be severely compromised by fighting in such hostile terrain and SUFFER ONE WOUND.
Once the island’s climate has changed, it will remain so for the rest of the battle.

Sydney
(Godzilla Final Wars)
Australia’s largest city lies on the COAST of the island nation, an important center of commerce and government. The buildings are, by and large, smaller than what might be found in Japanese cities but Sydney itself covers a larger land mass. The majestic and instantly recognizable Sydney Opera House stares out at the sparkling waters of the Pacific.

Tokyo (Modern)
Tokyo (Modern)
An immensely overdeveloped metropolis, with gigantic skyscrapers stretching from the heart of the city almost to the waterfront connecting to TOKYO BAY.
The structures are so tall that they dwarf even the largest kaiju, forming narrow canyons of steel and concrete that give them an almost unmatched amount of Cover. Megalithic structures such as Tokyo Tower and the Tax Tower dominate the landscape.
Cover: Extreme (+20 point BONUS to Defense Rolls)
Homefield: Destroyah, Megaguirus, Miroku, Orga, Ultraman Next
Veterans: Ebirah (GFW), Gamera (Heisei), Gigan (GFW), Godzilla (2000), Godzilla (GFW), Godzilla (GxM), Godzilla (Heisei), Godzilla (Kiryu), Godzilla Junior, Grand Ghidorah, Gyaos (Heisei), Hedorah (GFW), Mecha-King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla - Kiryu, Legion, Minya (GFW), Monster X, Mothra (GFW), Mothra (Kiryu) The One ( Ultraman the Next)

On a roll of 1-3, the original Super X will defend the city.
On a 4-6, it is protected by the Super X III. Both machines have a Power Number of 30 and will attack any kaiju not classified as GOOD, making a Focus Roll each round to determine which kaiju to target if both warrant its attention.
Any kaiju being attacked by the airships will need to make a Focus Roll in order to target them or their opponent. The Super X attack vehicles can suffer ONE HIT before being destroyed.
The original Super X will deal ONE WOUND if it hits a kaiju.
The Super X III will cause a kaiju struck by its freezing lasers to FORFEIT its next Attack and Defense Rolls. If the kaiju is vulnerable to COLD, it will also cause ONE WOUND.

Missile batteries are hidden inside buildings or on rooftops, ready to unleash a devastating barrage upon any kaiju bold enough to attack Tokyo.
The military will fire on ANY KAIJU not classified as GOOD BEFORE COMBAT BEGINS, once any Battlefield Conditions have been resolved.
The JSDF forces have a Power Number of 25 and fire ONE SHOT at each monster that qualifies for their attentions before retreating. Any HITS cause ONE WOUND to the affected kaiju and it will be forced to fight the coming battle in a weakened condition. There are NO DEFENSE ROLLS against these dedicated soldiers.

Wester Island
(Gamera vs Monster X)
A desolate, ugly pile of stone sitting in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. There is an active volcano rumbling and growling among the island’s jagged mountains.
