I will say this right now.

Red Baron can *WIN* this.

Oh yes he can.


He's taken attacks of insane power head on before, some times prone, without a damn scratch.

His armor is *IMPRESSIVE*

SO he can take most of MOG's weapons, except possibly MOG's grenades.

However, Baron can and likely will shoot the grenades out of the air, or more to the point, just shoot them while they're still in their hand. Those grenades are very slow t ofire after all.

See, Red Baron is powerful, durable, and a smart fighter. He goes for weak points.

And his weaponry is POTENT.

I can see Baron, possibly missing his right arm (again) pulling out the win.


Honestly, I wonder what the ElecTrigger would do to Moggy.

Moggy is rather vunerable to EMPs, and the ElecTrigger is 2 Billion Volts of LIGHTNING DEATH.

I tried to watch Red Baron yesterday in prep for this fight, but he's an odd robot.

I think Moggy's beams are powerful enough to win.

But every Robot Red Baron fights seems to explode into a million pieces in the blink of an eye.

I'll note, that's typically because he hits a weakspot, in story.

But Red Baron's attacks *ARE* powerful.

And again, the ElecTrigger might screw with MOG's systems something nasty.

RB, I'll be the first to admit, does tend to get knocked around by ranged weaponry, but the point is it does little to damage him. It comes down the the Spiral Grenade Missiles, and they could very well be shot down (as he did to Blizzard 7's warheads).

I will note that the Battlefield will likely not make it easy for either of them, though.

Anyone have any clips? This word of mouth with these abilities are going to do nothing. We took word of mouth with Stranger before, and it was A LOT more unimpressive than what was being said. So... Burk, Hus... get those clips out.

Pfft. I am not going to waste the time that I do not have any more on watching full episodes of a show I REALLY don't care about.

But, I did find the separate fights and... wow... Just wow.... I can't believe what I am watching... I got through the first two clips and that was enough really. MOG is going to DOMINATE him. He is even slower than MOGUERA is! And that is saying a lot! And judging by the horribly slow moving attacks that his opponents (and himself) use will just make the pilots of MOG confused on what is taking so long (I especially loved how in that clip against Black Massai or whatever it was the did the laughably silly speed run thing when they were not that far apart.)

Just because that over-the-top finishers killed a bunch of Roccem Soccem Robots doesn't mean it will be doing anything to a mecha that took excessive damage from freaking Space Godzilla and stayed active. MOG's basic weapons knocked Heisei Godzilla out cold for minutes as well. Red Baron did NOT take much on that level from what I saw, and if he did, it would be quite a hassle for him since that first clip (Trojan Horse or what ever) kept the robot off balance with his beams... which were not only much more pathetic, but a lot less accurate as well.

Yeah, favoring MOG big time on this one.

Look, it was hard enough to sit through those two clips without laughing at the ridiculousness going on... I am NOT going to scrounge around episodes looking for everything just to debate a fight. Especially when, as I said, I lack free time for such things.

If you point to the needed clips that I SHOULD be watching, that will help things much more.

But yeah, if 1) I had time and 2) gave a **** about the stupid as hell looking robot with the worst fights I have ever seen in the history of giant monster fights, from a show that made me wishing I was watching some crappy Power Rangers series instead, then maybe I would take the time out of my mostly busy schedule to watch the horrifically terrible fights and go into detail why MOGUERA who took Space Godzilla weaponry for extended periods of time and has weapons capable of knocking out the nigh-unstoppable Heisei Godzilla for minutes on end, would easily trounce the Roccem Soccem Robot. But I sadly don't have the drive needed to do that for this fight.

At least Red Baron is closer to true Kaiju then freaking Miroku.

The only reason THOSE kaiju didn't get in was because they didn't get the support.

Only one we banned this year was Space Godzilla. If they didn't make it in, they weren't VOTED IN.

This is a tough fight. Red Baron has shown the fortitude, like others have said, to shoot down projectiles and MOGUERA'S move so slow you'd think they were afraid of showing up early.

Guess I'm going to have to watch Super Robot Red Baron AND HAVE ALL THE FUN DOING IT.

You know what? After starting the series, not only has Super Robot Red Baron fought robots that can morph apart before, he's also taken firepower that rivals Heisei levels of explosives to the face.

Plus he can, you know, move around and stuff.

Moggy? Vulnerable to EMPs? The hell? The fact that he could fly around in space proves the exact opposite. The fact that his EMP resistance was FURTHER UPGRADED to allow him to operate near SG means he's damn near immune to them period.

And 2 billion volts really isn't much, at least by kaiju standards. Your average lightning bolt carries about half that.

It's still a powerful attack, as shown from the way it wrecks mechs.

Though the REALLY impressive weapon, I think anyways, is his Arm Missile which he doesn't get until episode eleven or something.

Hmm... after watching a few more eps I'm starting to actually Lean towards MOG for the fact that the pilot of Baron seems alot more vulnerable in his cockpit than the Mog Pilots. The fact that the robot getting knocked down in one particular fight ended up busting the pilot's head open is not a good sign for battle with such high firepower. I don't think that its a sure win for Mogs, but that factor seems like it could play a serious role in at least one out of ten fights.
