Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter One: Transportation
Armadon was in Las Vegas, already in the heat of battle. His opponent, dubbed Chimera by the public, was far stronger than any opponent he had ever faced. It was stronger than Jagarah, stronger than Okasa, and far stronger than the nuclear blast that had made it from seven normal animals. It had a snake/lion like head, three different pairs of legs, demonic bat wings, and a long snake-like tail tipped with a wasp's stinger. It was also very large, dwarfing Armadon at 678 feet tall. The beast was aggressive, and extremely malevolent. It cackled at the sight of Armadon's pain.
To make matters worse, the military had arrived. They shot at both monsters, doing little damage but making a huge distraction. Chimera used them to gain an even larger advantage over Armadon.
Still, Armadon fought on. The great armadillo bit and tore at his opponent, but couldn't concentrate with all the noise and action around him. Eventually he felt a great pain in his stomach, and looked down to see that Chimera's stinger was in his belly. Armadon wailed in agony as the poison crept up his body, into his brain. Roaring to fight back the paralyzing poison, Armadon sent out his psychic wave, and sure enough a vortex appeared. However, something was wrong. Instead of destroying things, it just grew. It was larger, and a different color. A light appeared at the end of the vortex, growing larger and larger. Then Armadon realized that it wasn't growing at all. It was sucking them in. Chimera was looking at the vortex too, awestruck. Armadon roared, then tackled the giant beast. They fell into the vortex, followed by the military. The vortex began to shrink, and soon it was gone.
Armadon fell down, landing on a pile of rubble. He looked up, examining his new surroundings. The whole place was a battleground. All that was left were a few buildings and a lot of rubble. He began to notice something else was different. The wasteland was not the city he was fighting in before. It was much different. The temperature was cooler, the climate more humid. There was an Ocean, which had not been there before. Armadon began to suspect he wasn't in Las Vegas anymore. He was right.
The Chimera cackled, then flew away. Armadon decided not to pursue until he knew more about where he was. The area seemed very familiar, yet strange. He decided not to think about it. Armadon slept, unaware that the strangest adventure he would ever experience was about to start.

Re: Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter Two: Armadon Fights
The military group knew that they were still in the United States, but it was so very different. They saw Armadon sleeping in the rubble.
General Jack Johanson looked at the sleeping beast, "You give your guard down too easily you damn rodent." he thought allowed. "Open fire!"
The few tanks and missile launchers that had safely made it through the vortex opened fire on Armadon. Armadon got up as he was surrounded and covered with explosions. Armadon roared at his enemies, he was weak somehow, it had been two months since he ate plasma energy. He decided to burrow underground instead of attacking. His tail flailed around as he moved under, he sensed a very small amount of plasma energy and moved towards it. Armadon moved up through the streets of a crowded city, they all ran in terror as Armadon roared and knocked a very tall building over onto a group of people. Armadon saw a power plant. That's where the plasma was coming from. He crashed into it and began sucking up the plasma. He was strong again. Armadon looked onto the frightened civilians and began moving towards them. General Jack Johanson had his soldiers move the artillery towards the nearest populated area; the problem was that they didn't know how far the closest populated area was...

Re: Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter Three: Tyrantis Returns
Tyrantis smelled something. It had been but one day since the battle with OVDG, and already new smells of death filled the air. His monster pack was exhausted, and Kraydi was on the brink of death. The dragon would survive, but he was in no condition to investigate whatever was happening back at the Man's land. Tyrantis decided to go off on his own. Hydra watched their leader leave, then hissed to the pack to move on. He knew that Tyrantis had to do his duty and protect the weak. Hydra would protect the others in his absence.
Armadon continued to wreak havoc as General Jack Johanson tried to evacuate the people. Suddenly a squad of strange jets landed nearby. From one of the jest came a handsome man dressed in black, accompanied by ten soldiers.
"Bet you never thought this would happen here, right soldier?" the man said. "Actually, it's good to see they're attacking someplace new. San Fransisco isn't even a city anymore thanks to them."
Jack starred at the man, confused. What was he talking about?
"Oh, I know what you're thinking. It's not one of ours. I don't know what this thing is, but Lerna didn't create it. God, this whole state is becoming a mini Japan." he continued.
Jack could no longer hold back his questions. "What the hell are you talking about?" he asked.
"The big armadillo thing. Are you blind or something?" the man said.
"You mean Armadon?" Jack was puzzled. How could anyone not know the fiend's name? It had done so much damage, surely everyone knew it.
"Oh, have you people already named it? What is it after some local legend around here?" the man asked.
"No, in Hawaii. Surely you've heard of it. It fought Jagarah, Okasa, Kenkorai, and a whole bunch of other monsters."
"All in this spot? Man, you must have some strong buildings. No city I've seen could withstand that many monsters. Why didn't you call us sooner?" the man laughed.
Jack knew something was wrong. How could he not know?
"I'm just glad Tyrantis has nothing to do with this. That would really be trouble. But at least this time they can't blame me."
"Tyrantis?" Jack questioned.
"You haven't heard of Tyrantis? Practically everyone has. Don't you're troops get TV here? Or mail?" the man continued.
Jack replied, "Who the hell are you?"
The man smiled. "Oh, how rude of me. I'm Mr. J.C. Clark, leader of the daikaiju defense force weapons department. Sadly I think we won't be able to stop this one. Not with the weapons we have. Our big guns are all being repaired, and the government won't allow nuclear weapons to be used on American soil. Best to evacuate everyone."
"Daikaiju Defense Force? Tyrantis? What's going on? How can you not know of Armadon? It destroyed all sorts of American cities, not just this place! Okasa demolished Japan, Jagarah-" Jack was cut off by the appearance of another man, who looked more like a scientist than a soldier.
"Clark, we have some bad news. Tyrantis is heading this way." the new arrival gasped, exhausted from running.
"Lerna, is this 'Armadon' thing one of yours?" Clark asked.
"No, but we have an explanation for how it got here. And I'm sure that man can help us in figuring out what it is." Lerna replied, pointing to Jack. "The monster, these troops, and the man you are currently talking to are from another universe."

Re: Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter Four: The Battle Royal Begins
Jack wiped some sweat from his forehead. "You're right. You must be. Your world is so different from mine. You see, Armadon was using his psychic wave, but Chimera had stung him. The venom must have somehow affected Armadon, and the wave must’ve disrupted the fabric of space and time and transported Chimera, Armadon, and us here."
J.C. and Lerna looked at each other with raised eyebrows.
Jack smiled uncomfortably. "Let me explain. Armadon is a giant armadillo, although his appearance, as you can see, is quite different. He has the ability to control the weather, and he has psychic powers. He was a normal armadillo at one time, but was growing into what he is now, then some U.S. scientists took him from Hawaii and injected a strange drug into him that sped up the process. He destroyed all of Florida and Hawaii. We stopped him with a giant spear that stuck into his gut, but he used his psychic powers to heal himself. Which was good for us, because using the psychic energy can really weaken him. A new monster appeared, whom we dubbed Jagarah. We don’t know how it came to be. It was a huge dragon like creature. It used electricity to power itself. Armadon’s appearance had changed when they met; he looked a bit more evil. But they did battle and caused a lot of damage. In the end Jagarah won, because Armadon is weak against electricity. Armadon returned again, looking like a beast from hell. He and Jagarah did battle; they even ate the president. In the end they were driven into a trap that sent them into the Earth's core, yet somehow Armadon escaped and fought another monster from Hawaii, a giant phoenix called Chekordai. Armadon brought it into the ocean and killed it. Then a few years later, a giant snake named Kenkorai appeared. Armadon used his psychic power to send it into the sky and at the same time he used his powers to make lightning, Kenkorai was sent into the cloud and was zapped into charcoal. Then another few years later, a demon named Okasa attacked a giant samurai. It destroyed most of Tokyo, then went to the U.S. In the end, it was driven into Mt. Fuji, where Armadon killed it. Most of the U.S. and Tokyo were destroyed. Now there’s the Chimera. He’s a lot bigger than Armadon. At least 600 feet tall. Now you mentioned a Tyrantis, I can only think of some kind of dinosaur, just by the sound of the name."
J.C. and Lerna thought hard about this. J.C. looked over at Lerna. "Tell them, about.... about your abomination."
Lerna glared at J.C. but began to speak of Tyrantis. "Well, I can definitely say now that you men are from another universe. Tyrantis is a giant T-Rex. There are, to our knowledge, three adults and four juveniles of his species. The first destroyed the Golden Gate Bridge; he was virtually unstoppable and could breathe flames from his mouth. A new drug, the Omega Virus G, was injected into his brain, since that’s where they’re weak at, it died, or so we thought. It still had some life left in it..." Lerna was cut off.
"Wait, how did this monster come to be?" Jack asked.
"Oh I’m sorry." Lerna replied. "A group of scientists, myself included, had cloned 70 species of dinosaurs. We had over 200 prehistoric reptiles on an island of ours. We lost a lot of money when the word got out, then J.C., this...." Lerna paused, his voice filled with disgust," man next to me, wiped them out with a new weapon, the Omega Virus D. The youngest of the animals, the still developing fertilized eggs, survived. Three of which were T-Rexes. I named they're species Tyrantis, after a Giant Japanese dinosaur monster named Gigantis, or more popularly known as Godzilla. I’ll explain that to you later. When the body of the first was brought in, J.C. began a project. I made more and more monsters to put a stop to any future monster attacks. The island where the dinosaurs were 'killed' was full of super smart, gigantic dinosaurs. And there we found Tyrantis’ brethren, or so we think. After the second incident, J.C. used the first Tyrantis' corpse to make Mecha Tyrantis. Tyrantis and three other monsters fought it to a draw. Then the remains of the first Tyrantis's butchered corpse took a life of its own, mutating into a hideous fiend we called OVDG. It fought all of our monsters, including Tyrantis and Mecha Tyrantis. In that battle, Mecha Tyrantis's legs and weapons were badly damaged, temporarily putting our best weapon out of commission. But OVDG was killed. Now we think Tyrantis is coming back to fight Armadon. We know that Tyrantis is larger than your monster, but Armadon has shown some very powerful techniques. We are in for quite a show."
Suddenly the ground rumbled as Tyrantis walked into the city. Armadon roared at the other monster. Armadon reared forward and grunted. Tyrantis cautiously observed the strange new creature. Armadon whipped his tail to the side, knocking a building over. Armadon could never trust any other monster. He didn’t want to be enemies, but these monsters always wanted to kill him. Armadon glared at the other monster and prepared for battle.

Re: Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter Five: A Battle of Fire and Rain
Tyrantis roared at Armadon, unsure of what the creature was. He began to walk towards the smaller monster. Armadon hissed in reply, then leapt into the air. Tyrantis's eyes widened as the mammal rolled itself into a ball, landing on Tyrantis' back. The dinosaur collapsed onto the ground, wailing in agony.
Armadon did not let his opponent get up. With the speed of a cheetah he began to tear at Tyrantis's hide, boring into the reptile's body. Armadon didn't realize that the king therapods was beginning to feel anger. From that anger, the mouth of Tyrantis began to smoke. Tyrantis raised his head, looked at Armadon, and released a large fireball. Armadon yelped in surprise as he fell backwards into a building. Tyrantis got back onto hi feet, then roared in challenge at Armadon.
Armadon growled, then charged Tyrantis. This time the dinosaur was ready. With one gigantic bite, Tyrantis lifted Armadon off the ground. With all the power his neck muscles could muster, Tyrantis threw his opponent across the city. Armadon was in shock as he flew a mile away from his opponent. But he was not willing to give up. Rolling himself into a ball, Armadon hit the ground hard, then began to roll towards Tyrantis. The armadillo beast smashed every building in his way, then hit Tyrantis in the knees. Tyrantis grunted in surprise, falling on Armadon. When the dinosaur got back up, Armadon was nowhere to be seen. All that was left was a huge, gaping hole. Tyrantis starred into it, not knowing what was in store for him.
The ground behind Tyrantis began to quake. The green monster looked around, unaware that his foe had risen from the ground. Armadon leapt into a large building, sending it falling down onto Tyrantis. Now Tyrantis was pissed. The monster rose from the buildings in a fury, releasing volleys of fireballs in every direction. Armadon began to dig, finding safety in the ground. He waited for the explosions to stop, then peeked out of his burrow.
Tyrantis had been waiting for him. The mutated tyrannosaur's mouth began to fume, and fire rained into Armadon's burrow. The armadillo dug more, barely escaping the flames. Armadon surfaced, far away from his opponent. Tyrantis roared again, then released a stream of fire in Armadon's direction. Armadon jumped back into his burrow. The mammal realized that physical tactics wouldn't work on his opponent. Drastic measures had to be taken. Armadon came out of his burrow, then used his psychic powers to manipulate the clouds. They grew and grew, until they could no longer hold all their water. Soon it was raining heavily, putting out all the fires on the flaming battlefield.
Tyrantis starred at Armadon in disbelief. He didn't know how, but he knew the shelled monster had changed the weather. Nevertheless, Tyrantis continued the fight. The two fought hard, until it seemed there would be no winner. It was at this time that Armadon withdrew his trump card. Using every last bit of his psychic powers, Armadon sent out a psychic wave. He was no longer afflicted by Chimera's poison, so the wave was normal. Tyrantis watched it grow closer towards his, observing how everything in its way was destroyed. It didn't take long for him to put two and two together. Tyrantis turned around, charging up his own fiery blast. As the wave got closer, the more Tyrantis charged up his fire. When it was but a foot away, Tyrantis jumped into the air and released his fire blast. Tyrantis had successfully propelled himself away from the wave, and to a safe spot. Armadon collapsed, exhausted from the attack. It seemed he had lost.
Tyrantis walked over to the fallen mammal, nudging him with his snout. Armadon looked up, waiting for his opponent to finish him off. Tyrantis didn't. The dinosaur simply laid down by Armadon's side, looking around for a new threat. Armadon didn't understand it, because it was something he had never experience. Sympathy, kindness, compassion, all had been denied of Armadon until now.
The peaceful moment was interrupted by an all to familiar roar. A dozen small flying monsters had appeared on the horizon. A larger, six-legged monster followed them. It was 678 feet long. Tyrantis didn't know what was going on, but Armadon did. Chimera had returned.

Re: Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter Six: Chimera’s Return
Armadon could only fight again if he had some plasma energy or if he could find someplace to rest for 24 hours. Armadon tried to get on all fours again, but the small chimeras and the large one landed. Armadon tried to motion for Tyrantis to run away, but the small Chimeras flew at Tyrantis and stuck to his skin. They stabbed him with their stingers and slashed at him with their claws.
"See there! That’s Chimera, but we’ve never seen the small ones before." Jack exclaimed. "Tyrantis has no chance!" The Chimeras tore through Tyrantis’ fresh wounds. Tyrantis cried out in pain as blood shot into the city. The poison from these creatures was not nearly as deadly as the one in the larger one. Tyrantis flung his tail around, destroying buildings, as the Chimeras stung him in his face, blinding him. Armadon soon lost all sight as he fainted from being so weak. Chimera cackled at both monsters. It watched as Tyrantis fell to the ground, dead and out, or so he thought. The Chimeras began entering Tyrantis’ body through his wounds and mouth. Suddenly, a red mist lifted up from Tyrantis’ jaws and wounds. The creatures inside Tyrantis’ wounds were burned as flames bursted from the holes in Tyrantis’ body. Tyrantis fired out a ball of fire, which shot more fire out of his wounds and killed the Chimeras. The ball of fire struck Chimera in the chest. Flesh and blood went flying out everywhere. Chimera grunted and shot his tail out at Tyrantis. Tyrantis dodged and turned, to see the stinger on Chimera’s tail stab into his head, right above his eye. Tyantis’s eyes rolled up into his head. Chimera seemed to grin as he yanked the stinger out of Tyrantis. A strange liquid began oozing out of all of Tyrantis’ wounds.
Lerna watched helplessly as Tyrantis fell to the ground. J.C. grinned. "Well think of it this way, now we have two less monsters to worry about." Jack looked over at J.C.
"You idiot, this monster is capable of destroying the world in less than an hour, if she wanted to, that’s much worse than Tyrantis and Armadon put together. Now, could we possibly use some of these monsters of yours and maybe MechaTyrantis to stop Chimera, because we’re gonna have to use all we’ve got."

Re: Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter Seven: Round Two
Chimera flew around the battlefield, happy to see her opponents defeated. Sensing victory, she flew on towards San Francisco.
Hours passed by.
Armadon woke up, finding Tyrantis dead. He smelled something. There was an organ by him that contained plasma energy. Too tired to run, Armadon trotted to the piece of flesh and devoured it. He knew the taste. It was a piece of Tyrantis's most powerful weapon, the organ that produced his flame. Surging with energy, Armadon began to regain his power. He was stronger than he had ever been. All because of the sacrifice the dead dinosaur had made for him. He wondered if Tyrantis's wounds could be healed.
Using all of his power and concentration, Armadon psychically removed the poison. He then tried to heal the gray matter in Tyrantis's cranium. It seemed to be a lost cause. Heart broken at the loss of his only friend, Armadon began to follow Chimera's stench. He would kill the murderous beast.
Chimera ran amok. It had already reproduced its fallen drones, and was now followed by fifty smaller chimeras. They thwarted every military threat, and with no new monsters from Lerna's lab and the robots out of commission, there was nothing to stop Chimera's march. The beast was now leaving San Francisco, having destroyed most of western California. It was heading towards Tyrantis' home.
Armadon would not allow that. The mammal had finally tracked down his sworn enemy, and was preparing to strike. His energy had continued to grow since he had digested Tyrantis's fire organ, and now Armadon was so powerful that he could fire five psychic waves and still be able to stand and fight. Armadon bellowed a challenge to the Chimera, who turned around and cackled. Then, with a flick of the queen's wrist, the drone chimeras attacked. Armadon was ready. When they were close enough, he fired a psychic wave. Pieces of chimera flesh rained down into the sea. For the first time the queen Chimera did not utter a cackle, but instead roared in fury. The sound was eerie, like the sound of death itself. The Chimera attacked Armadon viscously, but the armadillo simply jumped out of her way. The great beast landed in the ocean face first.
Chimera rose from the sea, but didn't take to the air. She couldn't. Her wet wings were too heavy to fly. She screamed again, and tried to slither towards Armadon. When that didn't work, she tried to walk. She was incapable of both, and could only stand above the waves. The Chimera wasn't going anywhere.
However, soon the monster began to cackle again. She opened her mouth, and from it came a large, white sack. The sack began to open, and soon hundreds of tiny chimeras came out. The queen cackled some more, then told her children to attack Armadon.
Armadon's fight wasn't over.
Meanwhile....
Tyrantis's corpse had stirred. The monster's eyes opened suddenly, and soon the wound on his head healed. His other wounds also began to heal themselves, for the venom of the Chimera drones was no longer affecting his regenerative powers. Soon his body was as good as new. The tyrant lizard stood up, shook off the dust and debris that covered his body, and followed Chimera's scent. Armadon would not be alone for long.
However, things were already going bad for the mammalian monster. It had killed off 127 of the 400 chimera drones, using two psychic waves. He was still gaining power, but not nearly fast enough. Chimera kept making more egg sacks, and more and more chimera drones were filling the sky.
Using his fourth wave, Armadon killed whopping 346 drones. But now they were numbering in the thousands. Armadon didn't have enough firepower to kill the swarm.
Soon a familiar roar echoed across the ocean. Tyrantis had returned. Two huge octopuses, Oodako and Lusca followed him. The tentacled terrors dived bellow, carefully hiding form the sight of the chimeras. Tyrantis joined Armadon's side, roaring a challenge to the chimeras. The queen's eyes widened, but soon she uttered her villainous cackle again. All 4,000 chimera drones dived at Tyrantis and Armadon. The two monsters looked at each other, then nodded. Tyrantis released a huge fire blast, one that was larger than his very body, and Armadon released a psychic wave with the power of three normal ones. The two attacks mixed, sending millions of fireballs at the chimeras. Each of the drones exploded in midair and soon the sea was covered in a mix of blood and charred flesh. Chimera roared in fury. Then the two octopuses grabbed here, leaving her stinger out of the water. Tyrantis and Armadon moved in for the kill...

Re: Armadon vs Tyrantis
Chapter Eight: Going Home
Tyrantis had sunk his fangs into Chimera’s tail. A strange colored ooze shot out as Tyrantis pulled the tail out. Armadon was biting at her face and had torn out most of the flesh. Chimera’s skull was showing as blood spurted out of the jaws and eyes. Armadon jumped off and stood next to Tyrantis. Tyrantis shot flames out of his mouth. A swirling vortex formed in front of Armadon. Armadon fired off a very powerful psychic wave while Tyrantis fired off a fireball. Chimera was engulfed in the fire, while the psychic energy tore her apart. Chimera’s flesh and skin burned off and there stood the skeleton. It moaned hideously as the bones snapped. The skeleton moved a bit then fell to pieces into the ocean. Armadon and Tyrantis both roared in victory.
Jack watched as the monsters beat Chimera. Jack then saw Chimera’s tail lying next to the monsters. "I have an idea."
The army, upon Jack and J.C.'s command, put Chimera’s stinger onto a helicopter. It was lifted into the air. Jack watched as the stinger was dropped and barely stuck into Armadon’s elbow. Armadon shrieked for a while, but soon forgot the wound.
"I hope that Chimera’s venom is still in there. Open fire!" Jack ordered as missile launchers and tanks blasted shells at Armadon. Armadon moved away from Tyrantis and fired off a quick psychic wave. It hit the soldiers and artillery. They all looked around as everything began disappearing. Jack waved goodbye to J.C. and Lerna, then jumped into the vortex. Armadon stopped firing as the soldiers teleported. Armadon then began to feel his cells twist, pulled into the vortex. He looked over at Tyrantis and disappeared into thin air. The two octopuses then submerged beneath the ocean again, as Tyrantis made his way home. This friend would not be coming with him. Armadon appeared back in his own universe. He looked around and then down at all the soldiers. Moving towards the ocean, he wondered if he'd ever make a friend like Tyrantis again.
The End
