Help Wanted!

FINALLY opening a new site, and I promise this one won't die like Baragon's Domain did. Maybe because I'll actually update this one.

The M.S.D.B. (Monster Statistic Database). I plan on having full pages of stats for Asian, American, European, Video Game, Literary, etc. monsters. The site isn't open yet, but I'm working on it. Currently I need someone(s) who can screen capture, research, make graphics, or all of them. If you'd like to help out, please PM me asap. Ok does anyone have experience with flash? I ask because im trying to start a website on freewebs.com. I need help building the site. Ok I have a few flash movies in developement and I need to know how to make a loading screen. Also I need to make an Index page, I also need to know how to get that certain thing onto the index and then have it go to that. If anyone could help I would be most grateful

You might want to try the Macromedia Flash website, and search for help there, that or search your Flash programs for help.

*Indexing: Get your Flash animations online and then create a word document with hyperlinks and save it as an HTML.

*Loading anim: Create another scene, then animate something with the word "loading", then count the total # of frames in your last scen, insert if frame is loaded for the last frame of your last scene then insert goto action for the next scene, in the last frame put the goto action for the first frame of that scene, make sure that that scene is your first scene. If you need any more help with this tell me. MAKE SURE THAT THE LOADING SCREEN IS ANIMATED!!! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOUR ADIAUNCE KNOWS THAT THEIR COMPUTER HASN'T FROZEN!!!

I'm not familiar with freewebs myself.
Your index page is the first/introductory page of your site, pretty much the welcome mat. It's presentation should give a good idea of what else is available, via LINKS. Roostville's might be a good example to use for planning purposes, somewhat modelled off a real city's one.
The SUBJECT(s) of your site could also determine how you might want to make this particular page. Go ahead and name (or rename) that "front page" index when you make it so it will relate to what it will be called on the site itself.
I'm guessing you mean getting the page on the web/server. Does freewebs refer to ftp or uploading? FTP is a program to get stuff from your computer onto the WWW. Free programs are available for download if they don't have a built-in one.
When it is on the web, it will have an URL, the string of letters beginning with http://--- you should see in a window at the top of your browser right now. Each page/file has its own distinctive URL/I.D. so when someone clicks a LINK (its "address"), their browser takes them there. The URL of your index page will be what you use to direct people to the site.

I'm making a new ebsite in the ruins of my old one. I'm setting all of the rules and adding Boards to my forum, and while I do that, I was wondering, Would anyone mind helping me out with a few details like Movie Reviews, and a "Monster Dictionary"?

I'm thinking of creating an online database of aliens from TV, Movies, books, etc. (Sorta like MM's Monster Galaxy but with aliens instead

Both actually. I was hopin I could get yor help Gor, since I know absolutely nothing about Star Trek and what good is an alien site without Star Trek aliens?

OK everbody. For my films I have a cool site here-

The problem is that the stupid thing isnt on any search engins, and they only give me a limited amound of space and it will run out soon. So, I want a new site. So please in uber simplistic terms could someone please tell me how to make a good web site that is simply Bigmanfilms.com and non-freewebs crappy thing? Also, how do I make it so that you can watch my videos on the site instead of needing to download them the way I have set up? Someone please, PLEASE help me! Thanks!
