The Guardians

I just realized we don't have these folks covered on the web site. We've got the Council of Death, EDCOLE and a bunch of others but not the main "good guys".
We know who's all a Guardian but we could use background and such on the concept as we're doing with the Universal Bridge and a few other things.

Resurrection and Rebuilding Again should have lots of background. When writing Chapter 19 of Separation I had to reread through Resurrection and it reveals a lot.

cool. i am confused a bit on them though. are there 5 or 4 guardians? i remember them being listed as "Turtle(Ubergeek), Great Cat(Catburt), Dragon(Anc), and Pheonix(Yuri)" but then the Black Fire Rodan is always listed as a guardian. i'm confused.

oh, nevermind. i understand now. what i got from it is that since Arora and Yuri were twins, they both became the pheonix guardians. but this would lead to the question of the male Black Fire Rodan. why was he a pheonix guardian if there were already two? and how come he died if he was a guardian. i have an idea that could solve this and be expanded upon later. how's this:

there are two of each guardian, a male and a female, and they get together. so we would have a couple who are guardians for each one. so that would mean, Miyaki Aso is the other tortious guardian, Lady ??? (the girl who takes Ancalagon away at the end of Robbery) is the other Dragon guardian, the male Black Fire Rodan is (already) the other pheonix guardian (plus Yuri who is kinda an oddball to the situation because of the twin thing, so there is no other guardian for her.) but to make matters kinda even out, only one of each guardian pair is immortal as a guardian. that explains why the male Black Fire Rodan died fighting Apocalypse. this is why Uber trades his soul to Mephisto when Miyako gets sick. the only problem is the question of who is the other Cat guardian, and the fact that Miyako is a were-goji and not a were-gamera. but those can be solved later. i mean Uber was a were-goji to begin with anyway... how's the idea?

at the end of Resurection. the male black fire rodan took a human form and fought Apocalypse, but he was mortally wounded. he then gave his sword to Rado, who was almost killed but Princess sacrifieced herself for Rado, and took the blast that was meant for him. when she dies, it resurected Afiag and split apart Apocalypse. Afiag took the Blue Devil to hell, and Hellspawn disappeared and later became Mephistophelian. then Roostville disappeared...

As for your question about Yuri, she was given her Guardian status by an Emperor.
The original RODAN had a mate and the two being able to fuse into a SUPER version works rather well. I gather Adora guards the secret kingdom while the male keeps watch from Mt. Rodan.
"The voice" (Megalon?) explained to Uber that Gamera was on another mission at the time so he got a "field promotion" to round out the four pack. I believe WE were also looking for suitable "Guardian material" at the time and ended up with TWO cross-overs: Uber to turtledom and Catbert to King Seeser, who is often mistaken for other than a straight feline creature. Now HE is going to have some explaining to do about HIS heritage!

I don't remember when the Z-Saber and the BFR's sword merged or when Abdel gained all of the guardians' powers. I do see what you might mean by Z-Saber, as Lord K accidentally called the Carsomyr +6 that a couple of times.

Go ahead and check the story to make sure everyone referred to the particular form of your sword at the time of the TEMPORARY power transfer correctly. An edit such as this is easy to do.
