Couple Story Treatments...

Well, I've been thinking - with all these RF characters lying around waiting to be used, maybe 5 stories just isn't enough to encompass all of them. So, without further ado, here are a couple story ideas I'm considering...

Super Roost Fighter

The original Roost Fighter with an all-new running commentary, explaining stuff like who the cloaked terrorists are, the 'time frame' for the story, and some stuff you didn't know about RF1 and the series in general.

Roost Fighter: The New Challengers

Early 2014: While all the veterans of RF and RF2 are resting on their laurels (or something), newcomers begin to take their place after Rodan's Roost crashes a second time. As they battle each other and find their way to supremacy, a mysterious being known only as "Dragon" arises. He announces that if the new warriors do not cease their combat within 3 days, he will publicly fight and kill all of the veteran fighters on top of Brooklyn Bridge. His awesome power is not doubted and almost all of the warriors cease their conflict the next day...except two rivals who are determined to crush each other. The New Roost Fighters, led by Raptor and Jeremy Sand, must convince the two enemies to stop their battle before the greatest fighters known to man are crushed and the world is plunged into darkness...

I say go with Roost Fighter: The New Challengers. (as long as I get included!)

This would be best to introduce the new charecter's before they fully come in to their own, later on.

I agree with Shadow. This mysterious "Dragon" could very well be a threat to the status quo of ANY Roost Fighters establishing themselves to deal with the initial situation or what the future might hold.
As for going back to the original story, I'd say use it as a springboard rather than a "rehash". A "companion" or something to explain the entire "universe" would be great. Many of the elements are on the website and everyone should have a pretty good profile available so the characters are taken care of.

I too like the Roost Fighter: The New Challengers. But Shadow, you already ARE in the Roost Fighter stories. I thought that the story was for people who aren't in the stories.

Correction: RF TNC is for characters who 1) are in the Alpha series but 2) don't have anything else going on in 2014. So characters like Raptor, Jeremy Sand, and Gorjirus could make an appearance in the story, but guys like Seer235, Henry Venetta, and Alpha Shadow are excluded.

Yeah, see I figured at that point I would be dead, just a head in a box for about 9 years until I get reborn by the good Doctor Whu. So I figured their would be no way for me to be in it. Oh well, should be interesting to see how everyone acts, and their personality.

Their clash would threaten the whole RF Universe.

And who would be the omnipotent observer "Dragon"?

Erm...what? Nobody's form is being changed, nobody signs up for it. I just insert characters that are going to appear in the Alpha trilogy but don't have anything going on in 2014 and don't have their origins based almost entirely on somebody being killed so they can be reborn or created (so that counts out Alpha Shadow and Zearatul).
