A couple of geopolitical questions for you, Clint:
Why would any US government tolerate a society like Mandoras in the Caribbean? I'd also be curious to know if Mandoras would be encouraging Neo-Nazi activism in places like Germany and the US. The Soviets and Maoists did plenty of it in reality, I fail to see why a society like Mandoras wouldn't be just as troublesome to the West as the Red Bamboo.
Another is that in the aftermath of Koumajutsu, in addition to religious revivals, wouldn't far-right movements in general be growing everywhere due to the spectacular failures of liberal democracy to solve Kaiju issues?
And lastly, considering what a Gyaos Irruption would do to world trade, and how dependent on it the US is, wouldn't much of the world be much poorer and therefore more vulnerable to groups like Red Bamboo or Shining Path or the Cthulhu cult growing or agents of Mandoras?
