Before the upcoming world premiere, the only place in America to see the GODZILLA FINAL WARS theatrical trailer will be at Godzillafest in San Francisco. The FINAL WARS trailer will be shown on the big screen during the 20 Toho movie festival, which runs November 17-23.

As far as I know, the only place in the US to see the full trailer was at Godzillafest, and lucky fans got to see it 20 times on the big screen. It rocked!

Now there's someone I'd like to boot in the head. What sense does it make for a lead actor to bar promotion of any kind? If the whole intent of making a movie is to get people to see it, is it logical to voluntarily cut off what is nowadays a primary avenue of exposure?

Way to market your movie internationally, Toho. How are the people in the countries you intend on screening GFW supposed to build up any excitement for your product if we (not just the US, but every country they intended on exporting it to) can't see a trailer?

(Note - I'd like to boot whoever put that clause into his contract in the head, not necessarily Matsuhiro Matsuoka himself, unless he's the one who requested it).
