Hedorah. Gammy's physical beatings won't be able to do much, and I doubt his rather weak fire breath will even burn much of the Smog Monster

Hedorah. Unless humans intervene which does not even seem to appear in the rules of engagement. I see Hedorah as practically invincible. There may be only a few kaiju that could destroy Hedorah without human intervention. Gamera is not one of them.

Gamera's fire was hot enough to stay lit under water and in the coldness of space, it won't take long for it to dry Heddy out.

Uh....dude...Gammy's fire didn't leave a single mark on Guiron, Viras, Jiger or even Gyaos I believe for that matter. It's extremley weak upon Kaiju

That says more about the kaiju then the fire, not many beams/rays are hot enough to stay lit in water, let alone space, which is probably the coldest thing known.

Like Godzilla 1954 and the other Godzilla's, the flame developed, or we could always say the beam was weak. And lets see...

Gyaos has the gas he always used

Guiron...well...hes a powerhouse, or we could always call Godzilla's beam weak because it never effected Ghidorah that much.

Viras, again, tough skin

The fact is, NONE of their real weakness is heat, and to stay lit in the coldness of space PROVES that the fire isn't just normal fire. And may I remind you, Hedorah's weakness is HEAT. Saying the beam is weak because it never effected Gyaos, Viras, Jiger, and Guiron isn't going against the beam, its saying more about those kaiju then anything else, meaning...

1. They have EXTREMELY tough skin
2. They are heat repelent

I'll go with the first.

And Gamera can just take off after him, Hedorah isn't the only one who can fly in this battle.

I'm going to agree with MM on this one. It takes mass amounts of heat to a large area to dry hedorah out. Godzilla has a focused beam, and thus wasn't able to dry out large areas at a time.

Not so for Gamera, his flames cover a large radius and will dry out large parts of Hedorah before he's going to be able to react. Even if he flies away, Gamera can just chase after him and start the cycle anew when Hedorah gets close to land...

First off, Space is far from cold compared to Albsolute Zero, second, Fire requires Air to " live ", therefore, Gamera can some-how bend the laws of Physics. Second, Gamera's fire Breath, spreading out, will only make a Crust, on the top of Muck and Grim known as Hedorah, and once that Crush cracks, it willl " Re-wet " itself. Therefore, the ONLY way to beat Hedorah, is to kill him from the inside out.

For some reason I doubt that. Once it "cracks" Gamera is just gonna open fire again...and again...and again, till there is nothing to dry.

And this is where the FEILD will play a part. Guess what WATER will help do to Hedorah? Wet him. Undry him. So, by some slim chance that the fire DOSE hurt him, all he has to do is jump in the water.

It was stated in the film and by members. Heat dries out, its a common fact.

Cause Hedorah ain't gonna get a chance to use them, he has no defences against Gamera's flames, which could be considered one of the hottest attacks in the kaiju world. And Gammy already faced lasers and beams (Jiger, Barugon, Viaranian Ship), and wasn't effected much. Plus the fact Hedorah's laser seems more heat based, that is just gonna full Gamera.

You think Gamera would just let him walk back in the ocean, if he can even walk. Like he did to Zigra, Gamara is just gonna keep the flames goin until nothing is left.

Are there instances where Gamera's flamethrower breath has shown to be super-uber-hot besides igniting underwater? This may not take heat, but some other physical condition/scenario. Unless Gamera's fire is proven to be extremely hot, Hedorah seems to be the safe pick here. Especially since Godzilla's hot, radioactive fire did practically nothing to the smog monster.

Gamera used his flames in SPACE, not on a planet in space, but in OUTTER SPACE. A place so cold it makes the Earth Poles seem like toaster ovens. That alone proves how hot those flames are.

Hmm..? Hedorah's body is pretty much a weapon. If he is automatically in flying form, just him being there would do damage to Gamera. For more examples of what he can do, go read that Toho Kingdom Hedorah article. It is like the King Seesar one you posted.

Yes, but Gamera isn't just gonna stand there goin "Oh look, some giant thing is flying at me", he's gonna do what he always does...

1. Pull body parts into shell so gases or what ever have no effect.
2. Take to the air.

I'll go with the latter. And I know about the article, I read it already.
