RVTS: Revenge of Apocalypse
For the purpose of this thread, I had to make it separate from "ROOSTVILLE: The Series Discussion."
Now, well all remember of the infamous story that set the standards for the dark and series tone of Roostville. "Resurrection of Desutoroia: Hellspawn's Legacy." At the end, Hellspawn discovered an evil entity known as the Blue Devil was trapped inside of Mount Rodan. He freed him and they became allies immediately. The Lord Of Hell fused them together to become, Apoclaypse, perhaps the greatest threat to mankind ever know. In the end, Afiag and the Guardians waged a war with hikm and finally defeated him when the Princess of Space gave up her own life to save her friends.
In the present story, under different circumstances, Hellspawn and the Blue Devil have become Apocalypse again and now the Guardians and Afiag are back to fight him off. Well, I was just wandering how you are all liking "Revenge of Apocalypse" in comparison to "Resurrection of Desutoroia"? They seem to follow the same basic structure of Afiag and the Guardians saving humanity from Apoclaypse.... but both stories seem to take very different paths in achieving that goal/story. So, in comparison, what are you all thinking so far?

Re: Revenge of Apocalypse
I'm thinking that Roostville will be facing ever greater threats to its existence as future tales unfold and the Good Guys will be sorely tested to set things right once again.

Re: Revenge of Apocalypse
What does that have to do with comparing Resurrection and Revenge?

Re: Revenge of Apocalypse
I think that if you dig deep into the story and look passed the gory battles, extreme violence and bible references (Zax The "Messiah" of Torment), ROA portrays some very good morals and messages. Its all beneath the surface and hard to see, but its there. Would anyone like to point out some?
