Super X, Super X II, and Super X III vs. The Eclair, The Rumbling, and the Karyu

Rules: All are piloted by their respective pilots. All have communication with each of their team. All pilots do not know what any of the other Battleships in the battle are capable of.

The Battlefield is Above/Under/Within New York City.

ooo.. this is a good one. I'm leaning towards the EDF battleships, though, at least against Super-X 2 and maybe 1.

i think the EDF wins this one. the super x's are really only intended to face living opponents. against machines, their main weapons are mostly useless(cadmium won't do anything, fire mirror can't be charged up, etc.)

the only weapon that can compete that the x's have in their arsenal is the freeze maser, and once it's used, the remaining two ships will definately take superx3 out of the picture.

Without the Super X3 to back them up, the other two super-x's are nearly useless...

The X Machines are more mobile and maneuverable (sp?) than the EDF battleships.
I think this will help them alot in this battle. But one thing is that the EDF machines have are homing missles, but the X's have went through much worse. If an EDF fires a laser beam into the front of the Super XII, I think all know what will happen. That will damage the EDF craft alot, if not destroy it. The other X machines have very nice weapons that will probably be very effect against the EDF weapons.

I think the X Machines win this.

That doesn't mean they wouldn't be effective against other crafts.
These things did one hell of a job battling Heisei Godzilla.

I guess I'm missing something here about the Super X-II.
It can't reflect a beam because....
I must have forgotten something that was explained in G vs. B...

You've also fogotten about the missles they all have.
The X's are definately more durable and mobile than the EDF's.
This is a huge advantage.

The Super X is very poorly suited to air-to-air combat. The Super X-2 is in trouble for the same reasons. The Super X-3 has a better chance but it's aim is terrible.

The EDF airships all look so big that they could potentially do a lot of damage by ramming alone.

Not to mention they can fire with multiple attacks from almost ANY angle... plus each one has its own super weapon. We never saw the effects of the Eclaire's attack, but one can bet it's just like one of those fishbowls with the lightning-spouting orbs inside them.
