The Behemoth follows Godzilla across the Nevada desert, passing over the site of an underground nuclear weapon test. Three months ago, a bomb was detonated deep underground, a subterranean fault line piping the radiation from the Arizona desert to a glacial cavern in Alberta, Canada where a sasquatch rests in an icy tomb. The radiation releases the man-monster and the sasquatch turns south, mutating and growing with every step. Back in San Diego, Rob Takiguchi slips away from his guardians, Jimmy Woo and Tamara. Once again, the boy sneaks into Red Ronin as the robot is being transported. The Behemoth continues its pursuit of Godzilla when the SHIELD agents observe the curious phenomenon of a mountainside lifting into the air. Hefting the enormous boulder is Yetrigar. The giant sasquatch hurls the stone at the Behemoth, knocking it from the sky with one powerful and violent throw. Yetrigar snarls at the downed airship and then turns to pursue other prey. In San Diego, Rob Takiguchi succeeds in stealing Red Ronin once again, heading for Las Vegas to try and find Godzilla.

Godzilla plods across the desert, aware that he is being pursued. The reptile halts at the edge of the Grand Canyon, refusing to be chased any further. Answering Godzilla's challenge, Yetrigar appears and attacks the monster, knocking him into the canyon. As Godzilla topples, he grabs hold of the sasquatch, pulling Yetrigar into the Grand Canyon with him. A savage combat ensues, Godzilla's atomic fury against the sheer brute force of Yetrigar. Soon, both combatants pause and look skyward. Descending into the canyon is Red Ronin.
