TriStar's Godzilla film is reported to be back in development following the loss of director Jan DeBont. Trendmasters Godzilla toys hit stores nationwide. 'Godzilla 7' is still being kept a mystery, rumors ranging from Anguirus and Varan appearing to the Oxygen Destroyer returning to the series or that Godzilla may fight another Godzilla. Daiei's Gamera Guardian of the Universe opens in Japan, and has received high praise from critics and other pre-screeners.
