• News - The line-up of guests and events for G-CON '97 is established. TriStar's 'Godzilla' enters production, with details such as GINO's tunneling ability leaking out. TriStar denies that there are any plans to release the Heisei Godzilla films to the US market. Trendmasters' announces that they will no longer be making the 4" figures and the micro battle sets, but will be producing a Mutating Godzilla and Destroyah figures. 'Mothra 2' is announced for December of '97.
