A sidescrolling adventure game, you are put in control of both Godzilla and Mothra. Aliens from Planet X are trying to conquer the solar system. Only Godzilla and Mothra can stop the alien assault. Fighting the aliens across 8 planets, the battle spans from the surface of the Moon to Mars and finally Planet X itself. The aliens employ an army of super weapons copied from Earth technology - Markalites, Maser Beams, Super X attack planes, even the Moonlight SY3. Worse, the aliens have enslaved an army of monsters. Gezora and Moguera are the first to oppose Godzilla and Mothra, but as the battle moves from planet to planet, other monsters augment the alien forces. Baragon, Mechagodzilla, Varan, Gigan, and the dread smog monster Hedorah. Finally, on Planet X itself, King Ghidorah arrives for the final battle between the champions of Earth and the alien invaders.
